I had the privilege of meeting Dana recently and seeing her beautiful home. The exterior of their entire home has had a makeover. The brick has been freshly painted white - and what a nice difference that makes. But Dana and her husband didn't stop there. They also gave their front porch a big facelift. From the fresh white paint on the bricks, to the newly painted and stenciled porch flooring, their porch makeover is nothing short of inspirational. So let's take a closer look. Dana and Brooks' home was much darker before the makeover. The front porch was begging for some personality and lighter, brighter touches. White Bricks and Painting the Front Door
Painting the brick white made a huge difference in their home. And painting the front door a beautiful shade of green named Fortunate, was a big step in adding a dose of charm to their porch. But...the front porch makeover wasn't quite complete yet. Stenciling a Porch Floor
So Brooks painted the porch floor with porch and floor paint. The base is a shade of gray. Then he stenciled over top with this beautiful stencil in white. We love how the stenciling dresses up the porch. You can get the details on their blog. Voila!
