January - the month of setting goals and fresh starts.
Mary and I have lots of plans for 2016 among them being de-cluttering, several fun trips, and of course, getting more porch sitting time.
Most importantly, we wish each of you, our porch loving friends, good health and much happiness throughout 2016.
Although it is hard to imagine sitting on your porch in the blustery cold or heavy rains, Mary and I love January.
It is actually one of our favorite months.
January inspires us to think of the year ahead and how much fun we'll have on our porch.

Looking Ahead to Valentine Month

Whether you relish the idea of Valentine Day or simply want to brighten up your porch for the chilly month of February, we have some ideas to get you going.
Last year I used inexpensive tea-towels and red ribbon to create fresh and colorful Valentine pillow covers for our porch.
I used a small piece of denim to add a simple heart to each pillow (optional, of course).
